Abstract

Fish farming is of the utmost importance for human nutrition. Fish are a high protein food, which has been proven in the nutritional field. If fish consume live food, macro and micronutrients adhere more easily to the body of the larvae, so their development and potential will cause a higher resistance to diseases and longevity of the fish. Live food has better qualities than inert food, since it does not contaminate the space where the fish live, in addition to maintaining its nutrients even in the water and until the moment it is consumed. However, it is not always possible to obtain the same nutrients in all live food, which affects the growth, reproduction and survival of the fish.
