Abstract

Enjambment refers to a way of writing that consists of not pointing out the syntactic barriers that separate those bimember units, composed of subject and predicate, called sentences. This happens because, by mixing the content of two independent sentence structures, the logical transition between them is lost and a single construction emerges in elements that should be separate and are left together: they confuse the readers. This article explores in depth the reasons why these syntactic errors can occur and how to avoid them in our writing or correct them.
