Abstract

Mexican digital art has diverse forms, contents and expressions. The way in which it is produced reflects the current era, where technological advances run rampant; however, economic limitations have led Mexican artists to forms of production according to the austere environment from which artistic developments are created. The above shows that the creative spirit grows in adversity, generating original and innovative solutions to the problems posed, as well as new perspectives for research involving the different layers with which a complex problem, such as digital art in our context, is presented. Digital art research seeks to make knowledge about this field accessible to artists whose need for expression is through digital media.
