Abstract

Anaplasma marginale is a pathogen with a wide genetic diversity, which has hindered the development of efficient vaccines for the prevention and control of bovine anaplasmosis. Using bioinformatics programs, a prediction of linear peptides of membrane proteins containing B epitopes in their sequence was carried out for their possible proposal as immunogen candidates. This work is an in silico approach for the subsequent synthesis in synthetic multiantigenic peptide (MAP) format and its subsequent in vivo evaluation, in order to analyze the effectiveness in the generation of a protective immune response against a heterologous challenge with strains of Anaplasma marginale.
