Infrastructures for peace, tools for social participation
Keywords:
infrastructures for peace, civil society, conflict, nonviolence, dialogueAbstract
The article presents an analysis of the involvement of social organizations in the processes of infrastructure organization for peace. For this purpose, it is considered necessary to specify what is understood as conflict, violence and peace, but the conceptions of sociology and political science are left aside, as they make evident the lack of plurality of options in the friend-enemy binomial. It also presents approaches to civil society participation in peace-building processes, emphasizing John Paul Lederach's proposal of infrastructures for peace, which are understood as a dynamic network of strategies that, through consultation and dialogue with social organizations, contribute to peace-building. The article concludes with a survey of the possibilities of creating infrastructures for peace in Morelos.
