Género: una mirada desde la filosofía griega y las religiones

Las teorías feministas y de género han demostrado que el género, como construcción cultural, influye en la vida cotidiana, social y política. La filosofía ha debatido sobre el conocimiento, la ética y los valores, y ha dado valor ontológico distinto a hombres y a mujeres, mientras que las religiones, a lo largo de la historia, han establecido el patriarcado como sistema social, con el hombre como cabeza de familia y dueño del patrimonio. Es hasta el siglo xx, con la formalización de los estudios feministas y de género, cuando se refutan las concepciones fundamentalistas de la filosofía y las religiones y se crean distintas teorías que explican la diferencias entre los géneros desde una perspectiva científica, partiendo de distintas ciencias sociales y naturales.
